My 4th Top of the Day on Airliners.Net

I was delighted to see my picture of a US Airways Airbus 330 that I'd taken in April 2008 reach Top of The Day on Airliners this week.

It's hard enough getting pictures accepted on this site, so to have another reach the most viewed is gratifying given the audience. Some 8,000 people had viewed the picture within 24 hours of it being loaded.

I had planned to visit the airport on the morning as an East wind had been forecast the night before. To my surprise it had also snowed over night so I raced to the airport and managed an hour or so photogrpahy in superb light. The snow was acting as a giant reflector lighing up the underside of the aircraft thereby reducing the contrast which is often a problem with photogrpahy from this location.

This becomes my 4th Top of The Day alongwith a Pakistan 777, the US Airways A330 crossing the moon and a Harrier entering the Cad Pass.
